Blog Update + Giveaway!

Hello dear people of the Internet!

I truly have to apologize for being an awful blogger. I could talk on and on about why I haven’t been blogging but I don’t wanna waste the time. I will try my very best to be more active again !! 🙂

I have a few Blogpost ideas that I am currently working on, I am hoping to be able to blog at least once a month.

Those who follow me on Twitter already know about this, a few weeks ago I reached 100 Followers on my Blog (which is huge, considering I kinda suck at it lately) AND it’s been my third Blogversary! I asked my Twitter followers how they would like me to celebrate that and they voted for a BD Giveaway.

So I don’t want to make this a long post, let’s get to the details. I am doing a $10 Book Depository Gift Card Giveaway. It’s open International (as long as BD ships to you), the Giveaway starts today and ends on August 31. If you want to know how you can enter the Giveaway, simply head over to Rafflecopter!

The Goodreads Book Tag

Hello lovely people!

Today I am doing the Goodreads Book Tag which I saw over at Michelle’s Blog (check her out, she’s fab!) and it looked fun, so I decided to join. I also haven’t done a Tag in ages, I am still trying to catch up on blogging *I suck*

But now, let’s get down to Business (pls read this in a Li Shang voice, thx)

What was the last book you marked as read?

“It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover which I absolutely loved! I also posted a spoiler free review if you wanna check it out! It truly was a heartbreaking read, it completely shattered my entire existence. I haven’t felt so many different emotions at once in a long long time.

Neko Box | April Box: Theme Edo | Unboxing & Review

neko

*Neko Box does not sponsor this post, I paid for the Box & everything I say is my honest opinion*

Hello lovely people! Today I have another Unboxing / Review for you: The April Box “Edo” from NekoBox. I reviewed their March Box a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely loved it, which is why I had to get this one as well.

Neko Box is a monthly subscription Box from Japan that delivers ceramics, dishware, stationery, art prints and other awesome things to your doorstep. The items that are being send to you are chosen based on a monthly theme. The March theme was “Hanami”, which is a Cherry Blossom Party, so we received items that were inspired by Cherry Blossoms. This month theme was “Edo”. Edo is the old name for Tokyo and it was also the period between 1603 and 1868 in the history of Japan. So patterns in this Box were inspired by this time period and the KAWA Zine focused on Tokyo.

But now, let’s get down to the facts:

  • Neko Box is based in Japan but ships worldwide
  • It’s a monthly box
  • A Box costs $34.99 (but you get $5 off your first order with the Code 5OFF!)
  • Shipping costs between $10 – $18 depending on where you live and if you choose normal or express shipping
  • It comes with a tracking number!
  • My Box was shipped on April 13 with express shipping & arrived on April 19
  • On the website you can only pay with Credit / Debit Card, but you can email them & then they send you a paypal invoice!

“It Ends With Us” Book Review | Spoiler Free

Aloha everyone!

Today I’ve got a book review for you, which I haven’t done in a while. But last night I finally read “IT ENDS WITH US” by Colleen Hoover.

SOMETIMES THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU IS THE ONE WHO HURTS YOU THE MOST

“It Ends With Us” by Colleen Hoover

iewu

Summary:  “Lily never really had it easy in life, but that doesn’t stop her from working for the life she wants and deserves. She comes from a small town in Maine but moved to Boston after graduating College and starts her own business. One night she meets Ryle Kincaid a stubborn, slightly arrogant but sensitive neurosurgeon who has a soft spot for Lily and everything suddenly seems too good to be true. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing.
As her new relationship starts overwhelming her, Atlas Corrigan comes back to her mind – her first true love. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.”

This novel contains graphic scenes and very sensitive subject matter. It’s a very personal novel from the Author Colleen Hoover

There won’t be any spoilers in this review, because you just have to read it yourself!

neko

*Neko Box does not sponsor this post, I paid for the Box & everything I say is my own honest opinion*

Hello dear earthlings! Today I am reviewing the March Box “Hanami” from “Neko Box”.

Neko Box is a monthly subscription Box coming all the way from Japan! The owners of Neko Box are Carly and Rob, they are from New Zealand but now live in Japan. Each month they send you Japanese-made ceramics (like plates, sake cups), stationery, art prints and other cool things! The goodies are chosen based on the monthly theme. The March theme was “Hanami”, Hanami is a Cherry Blossom Party, so this month the items were inspired by Cherry Blossoms. Previous Themes were “Mount Fuji” and a “New beginnings Box”. April’s theme is “Edo”, which is the old name for “Tokyo”. The Hanami Box was my first one (but definitely not my last one)! But now let’s get to the facts.
